What is IELTS?
IELTS is the most widely accepted English Language test in the world. The test is designed to check English speaking, writing, reading and listening skills of non native English speakers who seek admission in colleges in English speaking countries. If A person from a country where English is not the mother tongue wants to migrate to an English speaking nation, then he/she also needs to take the IELTS test.
Students who want to study in an English speaking country must take the Academic version of the test and individuals who want to migrate to an English speaking country must take the General version of IELTS
The test pattern of both the versions is same. The difficulty level of speaking and writing tests is at par in General and Academic versions. However the complexity level of the reading and writing sections of Academic version is higher than that of the General version.
